What’s the first step in the home buying process?
The first step in the home buying process is getting approved for a loan.
You can do this through one of the big banks you may be affiliated with
such as Wells Fargo Bank of America Chase the list goes on. Many times as experienced agent’s we have lender’s who have successfully helped get families into homes.
I have a list of lenders I work with who have competitive interest rates and programs especially for first time home buyers. You can compare and see which one is the right fit for you.
The primary reason to get pre-approved first is we need to know not only your purchase power but also the type of loan you qualify for. Whether it’s an FHA, VA, or Conventional loan. Each loan has different requirements and not all homes meet their individual criteria.
All this information is crucial to setting up a successful home search before investing hours into looking at homes that may not be a right fit for you.
Call me if you need a list of lenders or you have questions on the real estate buying or selling side of things.
I’d love to help you move your memories to a new location.
